About Us

Why Trappin' Fool you ask?

It is because friends and family have always called me a fool for being out in the wind, rain, blowing snow, sub-zero temps wading in water doing what I love..., trapping. I started trapping at the ripe age of 9 and never missed a year. I bring 34+ years of experience to you.

I mainly handle nuisance wildlife conflicts in Laporte and St. Joseph Counties in Indiana. However I will go to other counties.  I handle conflicts with squirrels, raccoon, opossum, rabbits, woodchuck, chipmunks, fox, coyote, muskrat, mink, weasel, skunk, beaver and snakes. I do minor exclusion and repair. If you have a problem we can come to a solution.

In the fall of 2015 I began buying fur. I am a licensed fur buyer in Indiana.

In the fall of 2016 I began a group outdoor page on Facebook.and started publishing how to videos and other videos on youtube.

In 2017 I began selling retail products at Shows.

Summer of 2019.  I am now handling mole problems.  Call for pricing.

Beaver Candies and Staank

PRICES

BEAVER CANDY & BEAVER CANDY 2

Beaver Candy is a lure I concocted in my fur shed late one night when I needed a new beaver lure. Since that night, the lure has proven to be very effective all year. Whether used on a castor mound set or dripped on a tree as a call lure this lure is sure to please. And now with the introduction of Beaver Candy 2 the possibilities are endless! I only collect small amounts of the ingredients every year so my batches are small and quantities are limited so be sure to get yours while you can! This lure may work good as a call lure for bear. I had a couple requests for it for this fall and expect to hear good results. I sell these in 1 oz glass bottles and a dropper is recommended for applying the lure. About 4-6 drops per set is all that is needed.

 BEAVER STAANK

With Beaver Candy and Beaver Candy 2 on the market it is time to introduce you to Beaver Staank. Beaver Staank is a smearable paste lure I made on another night in the fur shed. I made this lure because I was looking for a new lure for canines that would continue to work in the rain and last for weeks. Well, after several failed attempts, I got it right. Now I want to pass it on and share it with everyone. This smear lure works smeared on trees or in dirt hole sets. I found this lure worked great on beaver, coon, fox and coyote. Never had the opportunity to try it on cats or bear but imagine it would be a killer! This lure will keep producing for weeks. During the warmth of the day it will release more odor and as it cools at night it locks back up leaving a fresh scent in the air. I sell this in 4 oz plastic jars and just like the Beaver Candy quantities are limited so get yours while you can!
