It is because friends and family have always called me a fool for being out in the wind, rain, blowing snow, sub-zero temps wading in water doing what I love..., trapping. I started trapping at the ripe age of 9 and never missed a year. I bring 40+ years of experience to you.
I mainly handle nuisance wildlife conflicts in Laporte and St. Joseph Counties in Indiana. However I will go to other counties. I handle conflicts with squirrels, raccoon, opossum, rabbits, woodchuck, chipmunks, fox, coyote, muskrat, mink, weasel, skunk, beaver, snakes, moles, voles, mice and rats. I do some exclusion and repair. If you have a problem we can come to a solution.
I offer trail camera services for short term monitoring of properties for trespassers, animal damage or for a survey of animals. For example: deer, turkey and predators. Do you have a den on your property and would like pictures or video of the inhabitants throughout the day? This service is for you! I have invested in the cameras and plans to save you time and money deciding which camera to get, how to set-up and which service plan to use. Call for pricing.
In the fall of 2015 I began buying fur. I am a licensed fur buyer in Indiana.
In the fall of 2016 I began a group outdoor page on Facebook and started publishing how to videos and other videos on youtube.
In 2017 I began selling retail products at Shows.
Summer of 2019. I am now handling mole problems. Call for pricing.
In the winter of 2019 I began testing a new product, Beaver Bites-Fishing that would replace the need for wax worms, mousies and spikes. In the spring of 2022 I started selling them at Fishing Shows. I am working on another fishing product focused towards bass fishing.
July 25, 2022 I launched an online store.
August of 2023 I now offer mouse control service agreements.

Section will be for short term rental of Outdoorsman's Getaway. Be able to rent the dwelling where several episodes of Deadmeat were filmed and the Home of Trappin' Fool! This almost 150 year old schoolhouse is a project in the works and I hope to make it a reality in the next few years. Rental is approximately 100 yards from the Hudson Lake Public boat ramp which is a panfish destination for ice fisherman. Hudson Lake also holds great bass and pike fishing. Rental is within 30 minutes of Lake Michigan and its many tributaries for steelhead and salmon fishing in both Indiana and Michigan. With a deer processor within a few minutes, hunters will be welcome to stay. Rental is approximately 30 minutes from Notre Dame, IN and 1.5 hours from Chicago, IL (South Shore Stop approximately 2 miles away). Great shopping within 30 minutes of rental also. If you are looking to get away to fish, hunt, enjoy what Lake Michigan has to offer, attend a Notre Dame game or just get away and shop 'til you drop, this 2 bedroom 1 bath rental is just what you will be looking for! One bedroom will be furnished with a king size bed and tv, the other a queen. The living room should hold a couple cots for additional sleeping quarters. I may offer fish cleaning services.
